2025 Summer Student Positions
Are you interested in being part of a team serving the residents and ratepayers of our municipality?
The Rural Municipality of Estevan No. 5 Public Works Department is currently looking to fill 2 summer student positions to assist with general labour duties and ditch mowing throughout the municipality.
As a member of the Public Works Crew, you will be responsible for providing various activities under the direct supervision of the Manager of Public Works. Activities may include, but are not limited to:
mowing ditches/right-of-way’s
sign installation
picking rocks
assisting in minor maintenance and equipment repairs
shop and yard maintenance
Previous job experience is an asset, but not required. Successful applicants must be willing to be trained and certified on equipment including but not limited to: tractor/mower and skid-steer. A valid Class 5 driver’s license is required.
This is a temporary full time position. Start and end dates will be negotiated with the successful applicants.
