Public notice is hereby given that the Council of the Rural Municipality of Estevan No. 5 intends to adopt a bylaw under The Planning and Development Act, 2007, to amend Bylaw No. 5-2014, known as the Zoning Bylaw.
INTENT: The proposed bylaw will allow site sizes in the Country Residential District to be reduced based on the physical circumstances unique to the site.
REASON: The reason for the bylaw amendment is to allow for a site in the Country Residential District to be smaller if physical circumstances prevent it from meeting the minimum size criteria.
PUBLIC INSPECTION: Any person may inspect the bylaw at the municipal office at 1 - 322 4th Street, Estevan, SK, S4A 0T8 between 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., excluding holidays. Copies are available at cost.
PUBLIC HEARING: The Council will hold a public hearing on February 26, 2025, at 11:10 a.m. in Council Chambers at #1 – 322 4th Street, Estevan, SK, to hear any person or group that wants to comment on the proposed bylaw. Council will also consider written comments received at the hearing or delivered to the undersigned at the municipal office before the hearing.
